Expedition Box
An expedition box panel is a MOLLE insert for the lid or wall of a storage box that turns it into a gear organizer. It holds flashlights, knives, paracord, a first aid kit, kitchen tools — everything that otherwise sinks to the bottom. The standard 6×10-cell panel in 3 mm ABS bolts to the lid from inside or outside and fits plastic and aluminium boxes, including ROAM Rugged Case, Plano and similar. It doesn't stop the lid from closing and weighs around 250 g. For boxes of other sizes, adjust the geometry in the generator; for lids with stiffening ribs we add cutouts from a photo. The drawing is available as a DXF for making it yourself.
